We work together or we fail together.
we need a voice! stolpa's our choice!
We work together or we fail together.
We work together or we fail together.
We work together or we fail together.
A Mayor is an employee of the city. What do we look for in a great employee?
*Ability to learn and adapt
*Strong communication skills
*Works well under pressure
*Availability
The next Mayor needs to understand that this is not a 9-5, Monday - Friday job. This position will require 100% of your time and energy. This means no: bingeing Netflix, vacations, weekends off, free time! The next Mayor, when not at a meeting or in the office, should be donating his/her time to places like the warming shelter, salvation army, or any other non-profit organizations. The next Mayor should be talking to every business owner, big or small, and finding out what their thoughts are and what they need to succeed.
The next Mayor should be out working everyone else, because that is what he/she was elected to do.
I promise you; I am that person.
The backbone of our community, small business, is struggling in a way that most of us have never seen before. If we don't do help now, we will suffer even greater in the future. We need:
* A full audit of our civil services
* Reallocation of budgeted funds
* Constant communication with all
business owners
* Creative ways to increase tourism
* More support from Big business
With 2 colleges, 1 tech school, and no room to grow than up; we find ourselves unable to find quality housing at an affordable rate. When our students graduate, we want them to stay here and use their degree and knowledge to
better LaCrosse.
* Rent caps based on assessed value of property
* More quality low-income housing
* Required % reinvestment based on assessed value of property
Counseling is #1. We need to treat the root of the issues. Mental health, Addiction, Work Search, Housing. We must make this available to all!
No closed doors, no hidden agendas, no unseen hand shakes. I want to be crystal clear on this. Everyone should know everything.
